Unfinished Childhood

In this collection, In this collection, I use fabric, yarn, stitching, acrylic paint, and other materials that bring back nostalgic memories of my childhood. I use old buttons, leftover pieces of clothing, and sewing techniques that remind me of the needlework I did as a child. I intentionally sew in an uneven and imperfect way, similar to how I used to sew when I was young. I make these works piece by piece, sewing the different parts together by hand. In a way, this collection is like a return to the unfinished paintings I made in my childhood. I bring back the materials, gestures, and imperfections of those early works and turn them into something new.
