2018- Marker & Soft Pastel on Paper-100*70 cm
Statement: This pattern is not a dress pattern that covers your outside surface. This pattern is made of the skin and the body, a plan that considers the inner part of the body. I drew a pattern consisted of different organs which shapes an upper human body just like the patterns that were designed for us in advance to shape our superficial and external features.
The written texts are in Farsi and it leads to how pattern would put together and made the body.
All the phrases in the works are combined by common terms in clothes patterns and human anatomies.

Statement: In the past, Lalehzar street was the first tailors community and union in Iran. Those days a lot of people went there to buy tailor-made clothes. Tailor shops started from Saadi street to around Ferdowsi Avenue. At present time most of the shops in this area are replaced by electrical shops. There is a connection between this forgotten area and Burda map which belonged to our mothers. they sewed clothes of family members with reading those Burda patterns. Today, few people can read and use these complicated maps.

2018- Mixed Media on Wood- 100*70 cm
Statement: For many years, Fuji Mountain has inspired various artists, including Hokusai, who is the creator of Fuji Red. There is a legend in relation to this mountain which shows that the goddess of eternity and immortality lives at the top of Fuji Mountain, which is why this mountain is always a mystery for the people of the Far East. In this work, I used my mother`s old Burda papers for Red Fuji, which belongs to the era that most of the women and girls were able to sew their clothes by reading such complex patterns, and this was also part of the customs. In the past decades, the people have abandoned many abilities because of their life constraints, even one which they were specialized in. The new Fuji Mountain is a metaphorical symbol of these forgotten abandoned abilities. Here I put my mother`s old Burda papers in Fuji Red, exactly where the goddess of elixir and immortality lives.

Ferdowsi Shahnameh

2018- Handmade Paper- 100*70 cm
Statement: In the contemporary era we could see that many values have been transformed, such as books that were once the value and identity of a community or culture. Most people kept these books in their mind and used them for different social and moral demands in the past. The modern identity of contemporary human beings has changed many of the previous values. This work is a reproduction of a published book of Ferdowsi Shahnameh. I tore up sheets of this book and converted them into a large handmade paper. I also add some natural colors to arrange the composition correlated with the main composition and of the layout.
Tearing up the papers is done by hand.
